Today is the Day of Good. This holiday is celebrated regardless of nationality, ethnicity or religious belief. On the Day of Good, an act of kindness excited the teachers and the children at the Daily Care Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities Marina, Haskovo.
Toys, puzzles and drawing tools were brought to the center by the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Pakistan in Bulgaria, Marwan Alex Ayyash. His visit to Haskovo is informal, it is part of his tour throughout the country.
The Pakistan Embassy entourage had a meeting this afternoon with the Chairman of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yancho Yanev. The purpose is to get acquainted with the economic status and natural resources in the region of Haskovo, as well as the opportunities for commercial relations.
As part of his visit, the deputy ambassador also toured some of Haskovo’s landmarks. The visiting team saw the world’s highest monument of the Holy Mother of God, as well as the Eski Mosque – the oldest mosque on the Balkan Peninsula, both located in Haskovo.
