Ms. Mariam Aftab, Ambassador of Pakistan to Bulgaria visited the National Library of Bulgaria он Оцтобер 4, 2021 and met with Dr. Krassimira Alexandrova, Director of the library. The purpose of the visit was finalizing the MoU on Cooperation between the National Library of Pakistan and the National Library of Bulgaria and to discuss proposals for cooperation between the two premier institutions under the MoU.
The meeting was held in a very cordial atmosphere. The two dignitaries discussed holding an online meeting between the respective officials of the two institutions for chalking-out a detailed Plan of Action under the signed MoU, establishment of a ‘Pakistan Corner’ in the National Library of Bulgaria for propagation of information/literature encompassing different facets of Pakistan and reciprocal participation of both institutions in events/seminars being organized by each other.
