In order to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and highlight the gross human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK), the Embassy of Pakistan in Bulgaria also organized an online commemorative event which was attended by members of Pakistani diaspora in Bulgaria as well as students from the Sofia Medical University, Medical University of Plovdiv and Medical University of Pleven.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of Pakistan expressed the strong commitment of the Government of Pakistan to resolving the long-standing issue of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with the will of the Kashmiri people and the relevant Security Council resolutions. She called on the students and the Pakistani community members to effectively play their role in sensitizing the international community to the issue, especially through electronic and social media.
